The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo, often referred to as BAMZ, is among the most visited attractions on the island. It has been operating since the mid twenties, making it one of the longest running aquariums in existence.

The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ) is the propriety of the Bermuda Government. It handles its everyday running, under the banner of the Department of Conservation Services. The complex takes up an impressive seven acres and has been certified by the AZA, or the Association of Zoos & Aquariums. It also operates with the aid of charitable associations such as the US based Atlantic Conservation Partnership (ACP) and the Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS).

This well loved attraction is to be found in Flatts Village, in Hamilton parish. It is a vast, multi-purpose centre, comprising of three separate tourist sites combined. It is made up of a popular museum, zoo and aquarium. This is where visitors can observe a wide cross section of animals, birds and marine line. It allows you to view these magnificent creatures up close. The zoo additionally has greater than three hundred breeds of reptiles, birds and mammals, many of which are protected.
