The island will once again demonstrate its amazing generosity this month. It will be holding the International Women’s Club of Bermuda presents `Bermuda: An Everyday Life Art Exhibition Fundraiser`. This is a fundraising event in support of The Chewstick Foundation, being held at the ACE Gallery.
The gallery on Woodbourne Avenue in the City of Hamilton & Pembroke will be the site of this one of a kind occasion. `Bermuda: An Everyday Life Art Exhibition Fundraiser` will begin with a stimulating opening reception on Friday March the 7th. The show will then continue until the 21st of March.
This will give you the chance to look at the artwork supplied by members of the International Women’s Club of Bermuda. They have generously donated over 50 pieces of art to be put on display and possibly sold, to raise money for The Chewstick Foundation. These cover various types of artwork, from paintings and photographs, to clay sculptures, quilts, jewellery and more.
The International Woman’s Club of Bermuda was created in the early 1980’s to be a club for women of all nationalities living in Bermuda. The club is known for its numerous activities, events and charity work. It has long been involved in good causes, such as helping the Chewstick Foundation. This is a non profit cultural and creative organization, dedicated to enhancing the area and bringing people together.
They have now joined up with the ACE Gallery, in the ACE Group Building, to stage the International Women’s Club of Bermuda presents `Bermuda: An Everyday Life Art Exhibition Fundraiser`.
