Albuoy’s Point is a popular destination for tourists visiting Bermuda. It is the site of the Point Pleasant Park.
It is a well known waterside park famous for its incredible vistas and surroundings. This compact park in the shade is located in the city of Hamilton. It is near the busy Bank of Bermuda and the ferry terminal. This is as well as having Hamilton Harbour as a backdrop.
Then tourists can observe the various cruise ships arriving and departing. Point Pleasant Road links Front Street to the park by a fine lane. This is location renowned for its beautiful beaches and picnic area, along with souvenir and gift shops.
The member s only Royal Bermuda Yacht Club is situated on the west of Albuoy’s Point. It has been in existence since 1844. The club has overseen many occasions, famous in sailing. These include the Newport-to-Bermuda Ocean race and the King Edward VII Gold Cup Match Racing Competition. Albuoy’s Point has a train running on the road, carrying tourists to various tourist attractions in Hamilton. The point also holds a yacht parade with lights every Christmastime.
